This end-of-year holiday season I’ve decided to do self-care to the max! Since working and studying full time at home I’ve been a bit neglectful but I want to fully focus on myself both inwardly and outwardly as a gift and celebration for the holiday season. I challenge you to do the same.

To start off I got Philips Sonicare toothbrushes. I bought two electric Philips toothbrushes for myself and my mom, travel cases, and toothbrush head replacements from Amazon. This is my first time investing in a quality toothbrush and I’m never going back. The toothbrush has settings for cleaning, gum health, deep clean, and whitening. Even when my teeth are sensitive because I’ve changed my night retainers the toothbrush is comfortable to use at the highest setting. It’s easy to replace the brush as well. I love the sleek black color. My teeth look visible whiter and cleaner after use. Simply the best!!

I purchased hands and feet masks from Target to use in the colder weather. This is a great small self-care gift that’s affordable and can really make a difference in the softness and hydration of your hands / feet. Also, as always a nice bath is a great way to pick yourself up at the end of the week. When I was back in my home I tried using lemon slices and different bath salts for body aches.

I got some beauty products from the salon and Target-Ulta. I love the Peter Thomas Roth pumpkin mask because it immediately brightens my face and it smells like pumpkin pie!

I also got Briogeo scalp revival serum with tea tree, peppermint, ginger, and charcoal. Right now I’m focusing on giving my hair an extensions break before New Years glam and taking care of my scalp. This product feels refreshing and soothes any itchiness or dryness but the downside is it does make your hair feel a bit wet and it leaves black residue. My hair is darkly colored now so its not a dealbreaker but I do prefer to use it a day or two before I wash my hair.

The Beet Root night cream from Target, pictured in the middle in pink, is so lovely because its a gel with retinol. It immediately plumped my skin after travel when used with Shiseido serum.

Another small self care thing I did is get my own sheet set for my long stay hotel. I am particular about pillowcases and it feels nice to use my own in a hotel bed. I also got my own dish soap and plug ins to use in my hotel room to personalize my stay. ❤
