I purchased two candles, one in the large size, the other in the regular size, from Anthropologie, Capri Blue Fir & Firewood Glass Candle. I love that the regular candle has excellent throw in a medium-sized master bedroom and ensuite bathroom with the doors to these rooms closed. I have not burned the larger candle yet. However, the fir Christmas tree scent is strong so I’m surprised by reviews that say otherwise. The fir fragrance is complemented by a woodsy scent. This candle leans towards smokey rather than sweet. Also, the packaging is festive with a green tin holder with varied brushstrokes creating a feather-like appearance and a gold-colored lid with leaves and branches etched.

The large version of the candle I imagine will fill my entire lower level of the house seeing as the smaller version fills two rooms within 10 minutes of burn time. Even after burning the small candle for over an hour, there are little to no soot stains. This candle burns slowly and evenly. Seeing that the average-sized one is about the price of full-priced Bath and Body Works that burns extremely quickly with substantial soot, (I love Bath & Body Works though!) I think the purchase is worth it. I got the candles on sale, they no longer are on sale but Anthropologie is generous with sale codes so I’m sure there is a discount floating around and perhaps they’ll go on sale again!
