I purchased both the lotion and body souffle from Omi Collection. The lotions are made with cacao butter from cacao tree seeds, the seeds that are used to make chocolate.

The body soufflé is rich but not oily, it does take a little work to massage into the skin however there’s no greasy residue. The lotion is a lighter watery version of the soufflé that immediately is absorbed. This business is small and they sell independently and at stores like Macy’s. I purchased these lotions for a winter trip past December at Charleston Peak close to Vegas for a retreat in the snow. I’m going to write a review on Charleston Peak as well as all of the hotels on the strip that I’ve visited. That post will serve as a rewind of my time in Vegas and Henderson and a how-to on the best way to navigate because I had so many bad and good experiences so I hope I can help out others who want to spend New Year’s on the Vegas strip, visit a hotel, or go to Charleston Peak and give them advice.

Hermes perfume – I like to end the year with a blind-buy perfume from Hermes. For NYE I wore Elixir des Merveilles Eau de Parfum Spray. To review in a few words it’s not my favorite scent. I would not repurchase. The scent is described as candied orange wrapped in chocolate to me it first smells almost weird, kind of soapy, but it soaks in as a woodsy scent. It does not smell sweet and leans towards a clean gender-neutral fragrance. It is sold at Macy’s and FragranceNet with major discounts. Upwards and onwards towards the next new year’s blind buy Hermes perfume. I hope it works out better for my body chemistry. I’m finishing my bottle as a room spray in my pets’ room.

1-Year Oil Pulling challenge – I like to end off the year with self-improvement rather than wait for the new year. In 2022 around December time I began oil pulling to help strengthen my teeth and whiten them over time. I use coconut oil and swish it around my mouth for 20 minutes every other day. I will update with before and after photos in one year. Oil pulling has antibacterial properties and can help improve oral health.
